| BILLING
We base our quotes upon an hourly rate for design services. Our
years of experience enable us to estimate the time required to
do various kinds of work, and do it well. We believe that you will
find us to be not only creative but incredibly efficient. Additional
expenses may include courier services, overnight delivery, long
distance calls, client alterations from original quote, CDs, photography
and/or illustration. Every effort is made to keep the client aware
of time involved in each project - preventing any surprises for
all parties involved.
PROCUREMENT OF PRODUCTS
We prefer that you allow us to handle your project from the research,
to purchases to delivery and setting the purchased items in place.
We oversee the entire process to get the best possible results.
Amelia Interior Design has on-going relationships with many manufacturers,
workrooms, and supply houses. We choose our resources not only for
economy but for their expertise and quality of work. We cannot be
held responsible for the quality or work we did not purchase, oversee
or and/or deliver. Each project contains artistic elements with all
furnishings and design concepts as part of those elements. Therefore,
all parts presented must be incorporated into the completed project
to gain the correct principles and elements of design. Approval
of only part of the project will leave the project half done and
the designer may choose at that time to not continue on with the
project.
APPROVALS
We try to make certain all information concerning your job is clearly
conveyed to the client. Each element of the project is priced into
a proposal requiring the clients approval by signature. It is the
responsibility of the client to review all material choices during
presentation. After a proposal is signed, a non-refundable 50% deposit
is required to initiate orders.
OWNERSHIP
After work is completed, or delivery, the client is then the owner
of the property. Payments for deliverable items are required before
or at the time of delivery. All payments for work is done upon completion.
Any changes or additions will be invoiced accordingly.
PHOTOGRAPHY
Much of our work is professionally photographed and used for magazine
publications or advertising work. Each project will be evaluated
upon completion to determine the appropriate nature of the subject
and work. Photography will be paid for through Amelia Interior Design.
All client information is kept confidential and not released into
publication.
KILLED JOBS
If you have contracted with us to do a job and midway through the
job, you decide to cancel the assignment, you will be responsible
for paying Amelia Interior Design for the time put into the job
thus far and complete payments of any orders in progress. You will
be charged our normal hourly rate for all hours after the initial
consultation. The client is financially obligated for all work done,
whether or not it is used.
SPEC WORK
Please do not ask us to do speculative work. The reputation of Amelia
Interior Design is solid and our portfolio speaks for itself, allowing
the client to decide if Amelia Interior Design is the right Interior
Design firm for the job.
